The Hobie Eclipse was the first Stand up Paddle board with a pedal drive fitted, the famous Hobie Mirage Fin system. It was amazingly fun and easy to master, however at 11ft long it could be slightly difficult to transport and store for those with less storage space and no access to a roofrack. Step up the Hobie iEclipse which has all the advantages of the original pedal board designed around a brand new dropstitch inflatable hull. This method of construction allows a fully rigid board with a two part clip on handlebar steering system and rudder to emerge from a tough canvas bag that can thrown in the boot of even a small car. The inflatable hull is tough and durable so no worries about damage when leaving and returning to the beach or shingle shore.

Simply inflate to 10psi using the included 12v pump (or manual pump if you are not near a 12v socket), attach the rudder and bars, drop in the drive and off you go.

The iEclipse is easy to steer and the Mirage Drive pedal system allows effortless propulsion using a 'stepping' motion so literally anyone can be up and pedalling this incredible watercraft in minutes, it really is that easy. The wide hull is stable and comfortable with its thick EVA deck pad and big enough to strap a large drybag on the stern or even a coolbox for your refreshment needs.

When the days fun is over, simply deflate, roll up and place all the parts in the storage bag - it even has wheels to roll it back to your vehicle.
